Registration terms, conditions, and Race Rules for Ibnu Sina Batam Run 2027.
- Fun Run 5K is a non-competitive category open to participants aged 13 and above, with no maximum age limit.
- 10K National Men is open to Indonesian men aged 13–39.
- 10K National Women is open to Indonesian women aged 13–39.
- 10K Open International Men is open to men of all nationalities, including Indonesian and international participants, aged 17 and above with no maximum age limit.
- 10K Open International Women is open to women of all nationalities, including Indonesian and international participants, aged 17 and above with no maximum age limit.
- 10K Open International participants must present a valid official identity document appropriate to their nationality.
- 10K National Master 40+ Men and Women are open to Indonesian citizens aged 40 and above.
- Age is calculated on race day based on the date of birth shown on an official identity document. Falsifying age or date of birth may result in disqualification.
- Participants must provide complete and accurate information that matches their official identity document.
- Participants must use their own identity and are prohibited from using another person’s identity.
- Participants must complete payment according to the organizer’s requirements.
- Participants must read, understand, and agree to all registration terms, conditions, and Race Rules.
- A participant is officially registered after their data and payment have been validated by the system or organizer.
- Indonesian participants aged 13–16 may enter the 10K National category.
- Participants must obtain consent from a parent or guardian.
- A Parent/Guardian Consent Letter must be submitted during Race Pack Collection or through the procedure determined by the organizer.
- The organizer may reject participants who do not meet these requirements.
- The Cut Off Time for Fun Run 5K is 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes.
- The Cut Off Time for Race 10K is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
- Participants who exceed the COT will be directed by marshals or may be picked up by a Bus Sweeper or evacuation vehicle.
- Participants who exceed the COT may still receive a medal if they wear an official BIB and enter the refreshment zone.
- The race is supervised by official judges from PASI Kota Batam.
- Race results are determined through the timing system.
- The organizer or Race Committee may verify race results.
- The decisions of the judges and Race Committee are final within their respective authority.
- Participants must wear an official BIB.
- The BIB must be worn on the front of the chest and remain clearly visible.
- Participants without a BIB are not permitted to start.
- BIBs are non-transferable.
- Using a counterfeit or borrowed BIB is a violation and may result in disqualification.
- NO BIB, NO START, NO MEDAL.
- Participants must wear appropriate, modest, and comfortable running attire.
- Participants must maintain sportsmanship, order, and safety throughout the race.
- Participants must follow instructions from the organizer, marshals, security officers, and medical personnel.
- Participants must not engage in conduct that disrupts or endangers other participants.
- Prospective podium winners must present a valid official identity document appropriate to their nationality.
- Identity details must match the registration data.
- A participant who cannot present valid identification or whose data does not match the category may be disqualified as a winner.
- Winners must attend in person for the announcement, confirmation, and prize presentation.
- Winners cannot be represented by another person.
- A winner who is absent or represented by another person may be disqualified and lose their title and prize.
- Verification covers identity, age, nationality, and race results.
- Official results are confirmed after the entire verification process is complete.
- Participants must wear an official BIB throughout the race.
- Participants who complete the race according to the rules are entitled to a finisher medal.
- Participants who exceed the COT may still receive a medal if they wear an official BIB and enter the refreshment zone.
- NO BIB, NO MEDAL.
- The organizer will provide the safety facilities and medical support required during the event.
- Participants must follow instructions from the organizer, marshals, security officers, and medical personnel.
- Participants are responsible for their health condition and physical readiness.
- The cost of further hospital treatment is the participant’s responsibility.
- Not wearing an official BIB or using a counterfeit or borrowed BIB.
- Cutting the route or missing a checkpoint.
- Receiving pacing assistance that violates fair play.
- Acting in an unsporting manner or endangering other participants.
- Making a false start.
- Failing to follow instructions from the organizer, marshals, security officers, or medical personnel.
- Carrying dangerous objects.
- Providing false data or identity information.
- Any other conduct that violates the Race Rules or organizer’s requirements.
- Participants must ensure that all submitted data is correct.
- After the specified deadline, data changes may only be made according to the organizer’s policy.
- A participant transfer is only permitted if the organizer officially opens a transfer procedure.
- An unofficial transfer may result in disqualification.
- Participants are prohibited from using another person’s identity.
- Race Packs must be collected at the time and location specified by the organizer.
- Participants must present the required identity document.
- Collection by a representative is only permitted according to the organizer’s procedure and requirements.
- Participants must verify that their data and received items are correct.
- Any discrepancy must be reported to the organizer immediately.
- Registration fees are generally non-refundable unless the organizer establishes a specific policy.
- In the event of force majeure, postponement, or cancellation, the organizer will determine and announce the refund or participation-transfer procedure.
- Personal absence is not grounds for a refund.
- A protest may be submitted within the specified period after provisional results are announced.
- A protest must include clear grounds and evidence.
- The Race Committee will process and verify the protest.
- The Race Committee’s decision is final.
- Participants acknowledge and accept responsibility for the risks of taking part in a running race.
- Participants understand that injury and health risks may occur.
- Participants are responsible for their physical readiness.
- Participants release the committee, organizer, sponsors, and related parties from claims arising from unwanted incidents during the event.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions.
- Participants declare that all submitted information is accurate and accountable.
- Participants have read and understood all registration terms, conditions, and Race Rules.
- Participants agree to follow all applicable rules.
- Participants agree to undergo verification if they become prospective winners.
- A violation may result in disqualification and the revocation of podium status and prizes.
- Participants accept the Race Committee’s decision.
